Los Descendents of Caín son la "creación" del productor sudafricano de Kruger Darryl. Darryl dejó su país natal en 1998 y se fue a Londres con una maleta llena de instrumentos y canciones en una búsqueda por encontrar la felicidad queriendo dejar una huella en el mundo de la música.
Después de tres años de trabajo y redefiniendo el concepto lirica y musicalmente de Descendants of Cain, publicaron su nuevo álbum "Songs From a vanishing world"" (ECHOZONE - otoño de 2011).
Con este álbum, creado en base a historias contadas acerca de la humanidad después de una catástrofe mundial, que ha destruido la mayor parte de nuestro planeta, Descendants of Cain desarrollo aún más una especie de "gothic-rock progresivo", con aristas oscuras y duras.
